Responded to a fan on Twitter yesterday, director James Gunn reports he is “a hair’s-breadth from being completely finished” on his Suicide Squad film.
Gunn also pleaded for patience. News on the trailer and who the “baddie is” “will be with you in due time.”
Suicide Squad is set to premiere August 6 in theaters and on HBO Max. The film stars Margot Robbie, Idris Elba, Joel Kinnaman, John Cena, Viola Davis, Jai Courtney, Michael Rooker, Flula Borg, David Dastmalchian, Daniela Melchior, Steve Agee, Mayling Ng, Peter Capaldi, Alice Braga, Pete Davidson, Nathan Fillion, Sean Gunn, Storm Reid, Taika Waititi, Joaquín Cosío, and Juan Diego Botto.
