Bob Odenkirk beamed into E!’s Golden Globes Red Carpet show with a message. He tells E!’s Giuliana Rancic that his new movie Nobody “will blow your mind”.
From an undisclosed location, with a well stocked bar, Odenkirk dished on his preparation for his new action film. He trained two years for his new role, which many are comparing to John Wick in terms of intensity.
“If you love action, you’ll love” Nobody, Odenkirk told Rancic.
The Emmy winner stars as Hutch Mansell, “an undestimated and ovelooked daad and husband taking life’s indignities on the chin and never pushing back. A nobody.”
In the movie, thieves break into his suburban home and declines to defend himself or his family. The incident lights a match to Hutch’s “long-simmering rage”. Dark secrets surface along with lethal skills as Hutch had to save his family.
Other cast members include Connie Nielsen, RZA, Aleksey Serebryakov and Christopher Lloyd.
Nobody (in theaters March 26) is directed by Ilya Naishuller (Hardcore Henry). The script is by Derek Kolstad, the narrative architect of the John Wick franchise.
