Regal Benders Landing is the newest theatre from Regal Cinemas. The Spring, Texas entertainment venue is a showcase of the latest movie going tech, design and finishes. Bailey Construction says the 150,000 square foot multi-level complex includes 24 auditoriums, game room, bar and restaurant. In addition, four other retail buildings, fountains and outdoor seating are also included.
This was believed to be the largest theater complex under construction in North America during the past 5 years, according to the Houston Business Journal. Furthermore, the Journal says the cinema will help spark interest in the area which has seen new restaurants in the past couple of years.
The new theatre includes ScreenX. Regal says this is a “revolutionary” multi-projection theatre experience. In other words, the screen is extended to the auditorium walls. Furthermore, this 270-degree panoramic visual puts the audience in the center of the action.
Regal Benders Landing also offers RPX, which utilizes a giant screen and high quality projectors and sound systems. 4DX is also an option at this new Texas cinema. This experience uses motion enabled chairs. Furthermore, these chairs create vibrations and other sensations. In the same vein, environmental controls simulate weather and strong scents.
The movie chain shared an amazing fly-over video of the new movie complex today.
In addition, Fast & Furious 9 star Tyrese Gibson was on hand to serve popcorn at the grand opening Wednesday evening.
