ABC TV has released the first image from the next season of American Idol.
Studying the photo, we see the host and judging team socially distanced behind desks. Ryan Seacrest is still lockdown scruffy with facial hair and longer hair. He is joined by judges Luke Bryan, Katy Perry and Lionel Ritchie.
ABC promises that Bobby Bones will return as in-house mentor, but he is not included in this first reveal.
During its third season on ABC, Idol was the top Sunday broadcast among the important Adults 18-49 demo. The show was regularly trending on social with 27.1 million total social interactions last season.
American Idol will return to ABC on Sunday February 14 at 8pm/ET.
