Netflix adds Fast Laughs to their mobile app. It is currently available for iPhone only in select countries. The company says they’ll be testing it on Android “soon.”
Fast Laughs is a feed of humorous clips from across Netflix’s large catalog of comedy content. That includes comedic films like Murder Mystery, series like Big Mouth and stand-up specials from the likes of Kevin Hart and Ali Wong. This is a great way to surface content that you may not have seen. Also, a way to share your favorite comedy clips with others.
iPhone users can click the Fast Laughs tab from the bottom navigation bar of their phone. The clips start playing and the feed will continuously play funny clips. Users can add series, films and stand-up specials featured in the feed easily to their watch lists. Clips are also easily shareable via Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter and Whatsapp.
Netflix famously says it competes with viewer’s time, everything from Fortnite to sleep. Fast Laughs gives Netflix consumers another way to spend time with its content.
