Caitlyn Jenner has filed the initial paperwork to run for Governor of California. The “Secrets of My Life” author is an Olympic Gold Medalist, LGBT advocate, motivational speaker, TV star and author. In a statement, Jenner describes herself as a “compassionate disruptor” who can be a “fighter who isn’t afraid to do what is right.”
“I am a proven winner and the only outsider who can put an end to Gavin Newson’s disastrous time as governor.”

Jenner promises that her campaign will be one “of solutions, providing a roadmap back to prosperity to turn this state around and finally clean up the damage Newsom has done to this state.” Some of the issues Jenner highlights are the “over-restrictive” lockdowns of small businesses, children losing a year of in person education and high taxes.
The candidate will be traveling across the state over the next few weeks to meet with Californians. Jenner recently said “there is no bigger pressure cooker in the world than the Olympic games”, but politics is pretty pressure filled as well.
