The Rotten Tomatoes Channel is a new Over the Top (OTT) channel. It is available on The Roku Channel 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Furthermore, this is the first 24/7 linear channel from Rotten Tomatoes.
The new channel will launch with more than 10 originally produced shows. While it launches today on The Roku Channel, it is coming soon to Peacock, XUMO TB and vMPDs.

Rotten Tomatoes touts a libary of over 100,000 videos from new movies, TB and steaming content. Expect breaking movie and TV news; fresh takes on beloved movie and TV scenes, funny games and recommendations. Additionally, there will be interviews with stars like Zendaya, Dwayne Johnson, Awkafina and Robert Pattinson.
We tuned in this afternoon and caught some of “Trailers Reloaded”. This show relives “the hype around the biggest movies and shows ever with an extensive collection of trailers.” Also, we viewed a “Binge Battle” around the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Round one was about which film had the best origin story.
The Tomatometer site is making big steps in becoming a true global media brand. They have already expanded into original series like “The Ketchup” and the aforementioned “Binge Battle”. A podcast called “Rotten Tomatoes in Wrong” was recently introduced.
Rotten Tomatoes reports unique visits to their editorial content surged 147.1% in Q1 2021 compared to the same quarter a year ago. Also, a 27.6% jump in page views to TV and streaming content.
