Katy Perry announced the her new Las Vegas residency, called Play, will open December 29. The show will play at The Theatre at Resorts World Las Vegas. The all ages show begins at 8pm.
Katy joins Celine Dion, Carrie Underwood and Luke Bryan at Resorts World Las Vegas. Tickets to all shows go on sale Monday, May 24. However, there are multiple pre-sale opportunities. For example, Katy has a fan pre-sale beginning Monday, May 17 at 10am/PT. A CITI credit card pre-sale opens Tuesday, May 18 at 10am/PT. AEG/RW/Hilton/Tunespeak have a pre-sale Wednesday, May 19 at 10am/PT. The AXS pre-sale begins Thursday, May 20 at 10am/PT.
One of Katy’s hit songs was the memorable “Waking Up in Vegas”, released in 2008. The track peaked at #2 on the Billboard charts on July 11, 2009. The song spent 23 weeks on the chart. Furthermore, the video for “Waking Up in Vegas” has over 94 million views on YouTube as we went to press.
