E.W. Scripps Company has launched a new 24 hour OTT network covering Florida news. Florida 24 Network will leverage the company’s six Florida local TV stations in Miami, Tampa, West Palm Beach, Tallahassee and Ft. Myers.
Florida 24 Network will focus on politics, tourism, wildlife, beaches, lifestyle and agriculture. In addition, weather will be a hot topic. Furthermore, tropical weather between June 1 and November 30 will be a major emphasis.

Scripps says they learned how newsrooms can collaborate during the pandemic. Those learnings are being applied to the new network.
