Selena Gomez is currently filming the second season of “Only Murders in the Building”. The actor, along with co-stars Steve Martin and Martin Short are currently filming the follow-up chapter of the hit Hulu series.
We know the first season resonated with viewers. Hulu Originals president Craig Erwich told Vulture that the crime mystery “is the most-watched comedy ever on Hulu, by a good measure”. Furthermore, Gomez won the TV Comedy Star of 2021 award at Tuesday evening’s People’s Choice Awards.
Additionally. the show has received praise from critics. For example, “Only Murders in the Building” has been nominated for Best Comedy Series at the Critics Choice Awards. Furthermore, the three top stars are all up for awards. Specifically, Martin and Short are up for Best Actor in a Comedy Series. In addition, Gomez is up for Best Actress in a Comedy Series.
What do we know about season two?
One thing we know about season two is that Cara Delevingne has joined the cast. Gomez told Extra they’re dying laughing together since they “know each other so well.” Furthermore, the singer said she gave “a little push” to get her friend cast.

The 13 Reasons Why producer is working on another true crime project. The series, “Mi Vecino, El Cartel” (‘The Cartel Among Us’), will be Gomez’s first Spanish-language series as a producer.
Furthermore, the 29 year old singer received her first GRAMMY Award nomination. Her Spanish-language EP, Revelación, is up for Best Latin Pop Album last month. As she told ET’s Matt Cohen, she “cried like a little baby” upon hearing the news.
