Here Are First Reactions to ‘The Matrix Resurrections’ Trailer

First reactions to the new Matrix 4 trailer are in. Warner Bros. showed the trailer as part of their CinemaCon 2021 presentation in Las Vegas, Nevada. Furthermore, the movie now has an official title: The Matrix: Resurrections.

We knew a few things about the upcoming sequel. For example, Lana Wachowski directed this film. Additionally, Keanu Reeves, Carrie-Anne Moss and Jada Pinkett Smith return. The movie will debut in theaters and on HBO Max December 22, 2021.

Reeves caught up with the Associated Press in August 2020 and gave an update on how they dealt with filming during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Matrix Revolutions, released November 5, 2003, was the third film in the franchise. In that film, Neo (Reeves), Morpheus (Laurence Fishburne) and Trinity (Moss) battle to defend Zion, the last real-world city, against the onslaught of the machines that have enslaved the human race.
