Brie Larson is getting into fighting shape for The Marvels. The 2022 film will feature Larson as Carol Danvers / Captain Marvel and Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau. Furthermore, Iman Vellani will appear as Ms. Marcel. To that end, we know the Captain Marvel actor is more than halfway done with training for her return in this film.
Larson’s trainer, Jason Walsh, revealed that the actor was halfway done back in May.
Walsh runs Rise Movement, a West Hollywood fitness studio. According to Muscle & Fitness, the trainer helped Bradley Cooper add 40 pounds for American Sniper. In addition, Walsh got John Krasinksi into fighting shape for the Jack Ryan series.
Larson updated us again seven weeks ago. Her Instagram post illustrated a workout at Rise Movement.
At the end of July, the Avengers actor said they were “pushing myself past my limit”. This was while lifting a pair of heavy weights.
Fast forward to three days ago and Larson was lifting a heavy weight on her back.

Larson also took time to welcome Shang-Chi and The Legend of The Ten Rings star Simu Liu into the MCU. Furthermore, Liu responded by saying “Thank you Cap!”
Nia DaCosta is set to direct Larson in The Marvels, due November 11, 2022. Furthermore, you can catch DaCosta’s current film, Candyman, in theaters now.
Eternals will be the next Marvel film and is set for release November 5, 2021. Spider-Man No Way Home will round out the year on December 17, 2021.
