Disney Shares Halloween Playlist to Celebrate the Season

Disney says they are the destination for Halloween music. They are proving it by releasing a Disney Halloween playlist. Specifically, it includes classics from Tim Burton’s “The Nightmare Before Christmas” to “Grim Grinning Ghosts” from the Haunted Mansion. Furthermore, there are new music from the Muppets and Disney’s famed a cappella group, DCappella.

The Nightmare Before Christmas

The playlists are available across the most popular music platforms. Specifically, Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music and YouTube are included. As you seen, the Halloween playlist spans across Disney properties. Everything from Tyler Bates’ Guardians of the Galaxy score to Lana Del Rey’s song from Maleficent.

Sounds Effects

Every Halloween party needs scary sounds. Disney is delivering a Spooky Sounds playlist. Furthermore, it is available on popular services like YouTube, Spotify and Apple Music.

Junior Halloween

Disney also offers a Junior Halloween playlist. So, that means plenty of songs from Vampirina and Muppet Babies.

Día de Muertos

Celebrate the magic of family as you listen to this heartwarming collection celebrating Día de Muertos. You’ll get “Un Poco Loco” with music from Disney Pixar’s Coco including favorite songs like “Remember Me”, “The World is Mi Familia” and more.

Villains

The Disney Villains playlist is here. Poor unfortunate souls gather to celebrate the spookiest of seasons with this villainous collection of sinister songs, including “Call me Cruella” from Cruella.

For more on Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas, fans can listen to Danny Elfman discuss his score with host Jon Burlingame in a new episode of Disney’s For Scores podcast series on October 20.

Elfman will return in the live-to-film concert experience of the timeless holiday classic on Friday, October 29 and Sunday, October 31 at the Banc of California Stadium. Elfman will reprise his original singing voice role of Jack Skellington for both nights, with special guests Ken Page in his original iconic singing role of Oogie Boogie and “Weird Al” Yankovic set to take on the singing role of Lock.
