Katy Perry performed a special version of her 2010 hit Firework in Washington, DC last night. The performance was part of the “Celebrating America” Biden-Harris Inauguration event.

President Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris viewed the performance and firework show. Biden and First Lady Jill Biden viewed the spectacular show from the White House.


Firework, one of Katy’s classics, hit #1 on the Billboard charts on December 18, 2010. It spent 39 weeks on the charts.

Perry joined an all star lineup of Biden-Harris inauguration performers, including Lady Gaga, Jennifer Lopez and Bruce Springsteen.
