TEGNA Buys “Locked On” Sports Podcast Network

Local television station owner TEGNA buys Locked On Podcast Network. Locked On creates daily shows for every team in the NBA, NFL, MLB, and NHL.

TEGNA says Locked On produces more than 600 podcasts a week with eight million listens a month. TENGA claims that Locked On saw 80 million podcast downloads in 2020.

The broadcaster paid for the podcast network with cash on hand.
