Teen Vogue Selects Its New Editor-in-Chief, the Political Reporter Alexi McCammond – McCammond was most recently a political reporter for Axios, where she was the leading 2020 reporter covering Joe Biden’s presidential campaign. In her new role, McCammond will be responsible for the editorial vision of Teen Vogue across digital, video and all social platforms. Her appointment takes effect on March 24.

Comscore Provides Preliminary Fourth Quarter and Full Year 2020 Results – Revenue for 2020 was $356.0 million compared to $388.6 million in 2019.

A new identity challenge for marketers: Apple’s mobile ad ID becomes opt-in – “Major changes are coming to how advertisers and others in the ecosystem can identify users across channels and devices. The loss of third-party cookies and changes to Apple’s Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA)—rumored to roll out this month—will affect ad addressability, but also measurement and attribution. The next installment in Universal’s Fast & Furious is shifting gears yet again, and will now roar into theaters on June 25 instead of May 28. In a more dramatic move, the studio announced that Illumination’s origins story Minions: The Rise of Gru is being pushed out of 2021 entirely. It is now set to hit the big screen on July 1, 2022, moving from July 2 of this year [THR]

Other films are moving up: Paramount is moving the release of A Quiet Place Part II earlier after originally delaying the film’s theatrical release. John Krasinki, who wrote and directed the film, took to social media Thursday night to share that the anticipated second installment will now release on Memorial Day. [THR]
