Starship Troopers comes to PlayStation VR on October 31
Starship Troopers: Continuum is set for release on Halloween Day. The PS VR2 multiplayer shooter is the first time Starship Troopers is recreated in virtual reality.
According to PlayStation.Blog, a second game in the franchise will also release in October. Starship Troopers: Extermination, the 16-player co-op FPS developed by Offworld Industries and published by Knights Peak, will drop on PlayStation 5 on October 11. [PlayStation.Blog]
Sony Pictures Names Ravi Ahuja C.E.O.
Sony Pictures Entertainment said on Monday that its chief executive, Tony Vinciquerra, will step down at the beginning of next year and be succeeded by the studio’s president and chief operating officer, Ravi Ahuja.
Mr. Ahuja, 53, will report to Kenichiro Yoshida, who runs the Sony Group, the Tokyo-based technology and entertainment giant. Mr. Vinciquerra, 70, will serve as nonexecutive chairman of Sony Pictures through the end of next year. [NY Times]
