Build Overview: Mulder’s Office, UFO Encounter & Hidden Easter Eggs
Based on a submission by Brisbane-based 3D artist Brent Waller for the LEGO Ideas ’90s Nostalgia Challenge, this 1,478-piece display piece captures the eerie aesthetic of the classic ’90s sci-fi series.
What’s Included in the Build?
- Fox Mulder’s Basement Office: Features a detailed interior that can be opened or partially disassembled for display. It includes iconic props like the printed “I Want to Believe” poster, a printed “The Truth is Out There” tile, an X-Files dossier, sunflower seeds, and pencils stuck in the ceiling tiles.
- The Forest Clearing: A dark forest diorama positioned directly above or alongside the office layout.
- Hovering UFO: Mounted on a clear stand, giving the illusion that the spacecraft is actively hovering over the forest clearing. It can also be detached for a side-by-side display setup.
