Regal Global Entertainment has announced the successful repricing of its $1.9 billion term loan facility. The move lowers the company’s interest rate margin by 50 basis points—dropping from SOFR plus 450 basis points to SOFR plus 400 basis points—which is expected to deliver approximately $9.3 million in annual cash interest savings.
Key Highlights:
- Credit Upgrade Momentum: The repricing comes on the heels of Moody’s upgrading Regal’s Corporate Family Rating from B3 to B2 with a positive outlook.
- Long-Term Savings: Over the past three years, Regal has trimmed its borrowing margin by a cumulative 450 basis points, totaling roughly $80 million in annualized interest savings.
- Core Terms Unchanged: All other material terms and maturity dates remain substantially unchanged.
