‘The Weather Channel Plus’ Introduced As New Subscription Streaming Service

The Weather Channel Plus is a new subscription based streaming service. Set to launch in fourth quarter 2021, the $4.99 per month service is set to feature 50+ streaming entertainment channels.

Byron Allen’s Allen Media Group announced the new service today. Furthermore, the company projects 30 million subscribers to the new service within its first five years.

Byron’s announcement arrives as parts of the U.S., including New York City, are sweltering in high temperatures. The City is asking households and businesses to limit energy use to prevent power outages.
