Everything We Know About the Tiffany & Co. Nike Collab

February 4, 2023 Update- Tiffany shows off their Nike Air Force 1 shoes show via Twitter

Tiffany & Co. teases a new Nike collaboration today. This morning’s Sunday New York Times cover featured the Nike Swoosh and Tiffany & Co. in a ad. Furthermore, the luxury brand’s iconic blue in the background. To be clear, the newspaper ads don’t specify how the collab will play out.

Searching on Google today yields this nugget in Tiffany’s search result: “Tiffany & Co. and Nike are collaborating on a limited-edition release of Air Force 1s. Learn about these iconic shoes and new accessories, coming soon.”

Sole Retriever reported earlier this month the official shoe will be the Tiffany & Co. x Air Force 1 Low “1837”.

Unlike the many Swavorski-covered sneakers we’ve seen from The Swoosh, Nike and Tiffany & Co. keep things simple (and jewel free) with an all-black nubuck upper with tiffany blue taking over the tumbled leather Swoosh. Considering the “1837” moniker, the sneaker’s simple construction coincides with Tiffany’s 1837 lineup that nods to the founding of the brand and takes a minimalistic approach to jewelry designs.

The sneaker site further projects a Spring 2023 release “in extremely limited quantities.” Furthermore, expect men’s sizing and a $400 retail price. Images via @gabeagool on Twitter show the box will be as unique as the shoe. To be clear, it is a Tiffany box with everything that comes with. Yes, the iconic robin’s-egg blue is there. Also, the inside is unique to this collab.

Leaks

Leaked images shared by Nice Kicks show a pair of black Air Force 1s. Again, Tiffany Blue features here in the Swoosh. Furthermore, a Tiffany medallion is seen on the back of the sneakers.

SAINT shared a brief video clip of the Tiffany x Nike AF1.

Modern Notriety’s tweet shoes three different laces included along with black.

Reaction

Reaction on social media has been positive. However, some balked at the $400 price point. But, as Marissa Hill of ShadeTV tweeted, this is totally in line with the luxury brand.

Unquestionably, there have been “unofficial” Tiffany themed Nikes. One was the Nike SB Dunk Low from the Diamond Supply Co. That Aqua Blue pair can go for $2,000-$3,000 or more on StockX.
