Brad Pitt’s upcoming movie, titled “F1“, is an action-packed sports drama directed by Joseph Kosinski and produced by Jerry Bruckheimer. The film is set to be released on June 27, 2025.
The “Fight Club” actor has been seen filming in Las Vegas during this week’s Formula 1 festivities. The Las Vegas Grand Prix will take place Saturday, November 24.
On Tuesday, The Daily Mail caught Pitt and baring his “sculpted abs” and resplendent in a white suit. The “Bullet Train” actor was filming a scene with co-star Kerry Condon as they overlooked the Las Vegas strip.
SFGATE.com reported “F1” filming on the Strip Thursday evening. Furthermore, vehicles were rigged with cameras and crew members stationed around the track.
In “F1,” Brad Pitt stars as Sonny Hayes, a former Formula One driver who was forced to retire after a major crash. He returns to the sport to mentor a young driver named Joshua Pearce (played by Damson Idris), who is part of the fictional APXGP team. The movie features real-life Formula One drivers and teams. Furthermore, Lewis Hamilton serves as a consultant.
The film has been shot during actual Grand Prix weekends, capturing the high-speed action and behind-the-scenes drama of the world of Formula One. It promises to be an exciting glimpse into the intense world of motorsport. Also, Pitt himself performs some of the driving scenes.
In addition, fans caught a scene being filmed that depict a crashed F1 car. Evidently, Pitt’s character is involved in a dust up and collapses after exiting the vehicle.
The star-studded cast also includes Academy Award winner Javier Bardem, and Emmy Award winner and Golden Globe Award nominee Tobias Menzies, Emmy Award nominee Sarah Niles, Kim Bodnia and Samson Kayo.
