Disney+ Tops 100 Million Global Paid Subscriber MilestoneDisney+ has surpassed 100 million global paid subscribers in just 16 months since its launch, Bob Chapek, Chief Executive Officer, The Walt Disney Company, announced today during the Company’s virtual Annual Meeting of Shareholders.

“The enormous success of Disney+ —which has now surpassed 100 million subscribers—has inspired us to be even more ambitious, and to significantly increase our investment in the development of high-quality content,” Mr. Chapek said. “In fact, we set a target of 100+ new titles per year, and this includes Disney Animation, Disney Live Action, Marvel, Star Wars, and National Geographic. Our direct-to-consumer business is the Company’s top priority, and our robust pipeline of content will continue to fuel its growth.”

Disney+ is currently available in 59 countries.

CBS Sports and Turner Sports Present 2021 NCAA March Madness Selection Show on CBS, Sunday, March 14, at 6 p.m. ET – The Selection Show will begin with the release of the full bracket by region as well as reactions from teams as they find out if they made this year’s field of 68. Host Greg Gumbel will be joined in New York by analysts Clark Kellogg and Seth Davis. Selection Committee Chair Mitch Barnhart will also join remotely from Indianapolis for a live interview to discuss the bracket.

2021 ESPN Tournament Challenge Game is Back – The most popular college basketball bracket game for both men’s and women’s tournaments, the ESPN Men’s Tournament Challenge presented by Allstate, Acura and McDonald’s and Women’s Tournament Challenge presented by Capital One give fans the chance to compete with friends, family and others by predicting the winner of each tournament game from the Round of 64 through the championship final. This year’s game includes updated features that make it faster and easier to fill out multiple brackets, and unique tools and content to help fans make the right picks.

The ESPN Men’s Tournament Challenge brackets will be available Sunday, March 14, at 7 p.m. ET, while the Women’s Tournament Challenge brackets will be open on Monday, March 15, at 8 p.m. ET. Fans can submit up to 25 brackets and join up to 10 groups each for the men’s tournament at ESPN.com/bracket and the women’s tournament at ESPN.com/tcwomen, as well as the ESPN Tournament Challenge App for iOS and Android. This year fans will also be able to submit men’s and women’s brackets using the ESPN App. Like all ESPN Fantasy games, Tournament Challenge is free to play.
