Caitlyn Jenner is exploring entering the race to be the next Governor of California, according to a report in Axios. The “Secrets of My Life” author is an Olympic Gold Medalist, LGBT advocate, motivational speaker, TV star and author.

Jenner recently said “there is no bigger pressure cooker in the world than the Olympic games”.

IPG Mediabrands and TikTok build program to connect brands with culture – IPG Mediabrands and TikTok will co-create a series of custom programs for the agency’s clients. These initiatives will help the clients build “an authentic presence on TikTok by tapping into the platform’s community of creators.”

The two companies are forming the “Creator Collective” which will allow a select group of “forward-thinking and diverse” creators provide direct guidance to IPG Mediabrands clients. The goal is to make sure these clients’ content is “culturally connected, inclusive and resonates with the TikTok community.” [TikTok]

Topps, the trading card company, is going public in a deal that values it at $1.3 billion – Topps, known for its trading cards and Bazooka gum, is going public by merging with a blank-check firm in a deal that values the company at $1.3 billion, the DealBook newsletter was the first to report.

The transaction includes an investment of $250 million led by Mudrick Capital, the sponsor of the special purpose acquisition company, or SPAC, along with investors including Gamco and Wells Capital. Michael Eisner, the chairman of Topps and former chief executive of the Walt Disney Company, will roll his entire stake into the new company and stay on. [NY Times]

YouTube to release a new Violative View Rate (VVR) metric – VVR will help the social video platform estimate the percentage of the views on YouTube that come from violative content.
