Apple announced a new generation of Apple TV today in Cupertino, California. New features include high frame rate HDR with Dolby Vision, a redesigned Siri Remote and color balance technology.

The A12 Bionic chip makes it all possible. The processor boosts graphic performance, video decoding and audio processing. tvOS is the operating system behind Apple TV 4K. Specifically, tvOS allows for tight integration with Apple devices and services, such as Apple Music, Apple Fitness+ and Apple Arcade.
The Cupertino based company says it is working with leading video providers, such as FOX Sports, NBCUniversal and Paramount+ as they begin to stream in high frame rate HDR. The new Apple TV 4K will also work perfect with iPhone 12 Pro. High frame rate videos shot on iPhone 12 Pro can be shown in full 60-fps Dolby Vision. Tis new Apple TV will also work with iPhone’s advanced sensors to improve your television’s picture quality. Apple TV will tailor its video output using the light sensor in iPhone. Furthermore, this allows comparison to industry standard specs used by cinematographers.
The new Siri Remote has a clickpad control with five-way navigation. Additionally, the clickpad is touch enabled for directional swipes. The Siri Remote’s power button will control a TV’s power.
