Selena Gomez Continues To Film Season 2 Of ‘Only Murders In The Building’ In New York City

Selena Gomez was spotted on Wednesday filming season two of ‘Only Murders in the Building”. The Hulu series star was seen filming with her co-stars at the Long Island City Courthouse. The Long Island City Courthouse was built between 1872 and 1876. At two-and-a-half stories, built of brick and granite in the French Second Empire style, it became one of the most important buildings in Queens. It was designed by Massachusetts architect George Hathorne. The building was the setting for the movies, “Manslaughter” (Cecil B. DeMille) and “The Wrong Man” (Alfred Hitchcock).

The actor-singer was on-set wearing a red hoodie, black pants and black boots. Co-star Steve Martin was wearing his character’s signature hat. Meanwhile Martin Short was adorned with a winter scarf for warmth and style.

The series follows three strangers (played by Gomez, Martin and Short) who share an obsession with true crime. The trio, in season one, found themselves at the center of a crime mystery within their New York City building. Hulu Originals president Craig Erwich told Vulture that the crime mystery “is the most-watched comedy ever on Hulu, by a good measure”. Furthermore, Gomez won the TV Comedy Star of 2021 award at Tuesday evening’s People’s Choice Awards.

What do we know about season two?

One thing we know about season two is that Cara Delevingne has joined the cast. Gomez told Extra they’re dying laughing together since they “know each other so well.” Furthermore, the singer said she gave “a little push” to get her friend cast.

The pair were spotted courtside at a New York Knicks basketball game in November.
