The new Apple Original limited series, “WeCrashed”, premieres March 18, 2022. Furthermore, Apple TV+ shared the first sneak peak of the series today. Academy Award winners Jared Leto and Anne Hathaway star as the co-founders of WeWork. Hathaway is portraying WeWork co-founder Rebekah Neumann. Jared Leto plays her husband and co-founder Adam Neumann. In addition, the pair are executive producers on the series. In addition, the limited series also stars Kyle Marvin, alongside America Ferrera and O-T Fagbenle.

“WeCrashed” is created by Lee Eisenberg (Spirit Award-nominated “Little America,” “Good Boys”) andDrew Crevello (“The Long Dark”), who also serve as co-writers, executive producers and co-showrunners. Furthermore, John Requa and Glenn Ficarra (“This is Us,” “Crazy, Stupid, Love”) direct.
Requa and Ficarra executive produce alongside Charlie Gogolak, Hathaway and Natalie Sandy. Leto and Emma Ludbrook executive produce through their Paradox production company and Hernan Lopez, Marshall Lewy and Aaron Hart executive produce from Wondery.
Apple tells us that the first three episodes premiere March 18. Then, new weekly episodes will be available each Friday through April 22.
‘WeCrashed’ Production
We’ve been following production on ‘WeCrashed’ as it filmed in New York City over the past year. Shooting wrapped in September 2021. Leto and Hathaway were seen filming in the Gramercy Park neighborhood earlier that month. The “Devil Wears Prada” actor was joined by Leto in transporting a white board on the streets of New York City. Furthermore, the board contained financial statement with expenses, diluted shares and other metrics.
“WeCrashed” is the story of the rise and fall of WeWork, “one of the world’s most valuable startups and the narcissists whose chaotic love made it all possible.” Filming has produced several wild scenes. For example, Hathaway dressed as an “Avatar” alien and literally crashed on a car.
